1. Agreement

By accessing https://torquely.net you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy . If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. The service

Torquely provides free, browser-based automotive calculators and related explanatory text. There is no account, no paid tier, and no service-level agreement. Features can change or go offline without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 (or 16 in the EEA) to use the site. By using it you confirm you meet that age requirement.

4. No accounts

You do not create an account. You are responsible for how you use the results in each session. Preference cookies can be lost if you clear browser data.

5. Calculators are estimates — not professional advice

Outputs are planning numbers from published formulas and the values you type. They are not a substitute for a workshop manual, OEM torque or inflation spec, a licensed mechanic, or an engine builder. Wrong inputs, unit mix-ups, tire growth, converter slip, manufacturing tolerance, and weather all move real-world results.

Do not machine a block, order a rotating assembly, set highway tire pressure for a loaded vehicle, or claim a timeslip based only on a Torquely result. Verify critical numbers with measurement and manufacturer data before you cut, weld, or drive.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the site for illegal activity
  • Scrape or overload the site beyond ordinary browsing
  • Attempt to break security, inject ads, or impersonate Torquely
  • Copy the tools or content and present them as your own commercial product without permission

7. Intellectual property

The Torquely name, site design, and original explanatory text are ours. You may use the calculators for personal or shop work. You may not republish the site wholesale.

8. Advertising

The site may display third-party ads (including Google AdSense). Ads are not endorsements. Clicking an ad takes you to another site with its own terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that a result is accurate, complete, or safe to use on a specific vehicle. Some places do not allow these disclaimers; in those places they apply only to the extent permitted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Torquely and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for engine damage, failed inspections, lost time, or parts ordered from a calculator result. Our total liability for a claim relating to the site is limited to AUD $0, because the service is free. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts in Australia have jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the update.
